| National CASA Association Mission Statement: The mission of the National Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) Association, together with its state and local members, is to support and promote court-appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes. The National CASA Association speaks for the best interests of abused and neglected children who are involved in the juvenile courts. The National CASA Association works with state and locally operated, community based CASA and volunteer guardian ad litem (GAL) programs to promote and support quality volunteer advocacy to help assure each child a safe, permanent, nurturing home. CASA volunteers are recruited, trained, and supervised by local programs to speak out for abused and neglected children. |
