The I Do Foundation has developed a list of recommended nonprofit partners for couples looking for excellent charities to support with their wedding donations.

Couples who already have a nonprofit in mind may suggest an organization as their charitable wedding recipient. In order for suggested organizations to receive funds from the I Do Foundation, they must meet the following criteria:

1. The organization must be recognized as a tax-exempt organization under the 501(c)(3) ruling of the IRS code.
2. The organization must demonstrate basic fiscal responsibility.
3. The organization cannot promote violence, intolerance, racial division, or discrimination.

To suggest an organization, couples must:

Once a suggestion has been received, the I Do Foundation confirms that the organization meets the criteria outlined above. If a nonprofit is approved to receive funds through the I Do Foundation, the organization's name will be placed on the couples' personal wedding website. The entire nomination process may take up to two weeks.

Please note: Suggested nonprofits that are approved by the I Do Foundation are not automatically listed as one of the Foundation's recommended nonprofit partners. In cases where it appears that a suggested organizations may fit the I Do Foundation's strict guidelines of social justice and equity, the Board of Directors may choose to include the organization in its recommended list.
