How are donations generated from my gift registry?
Every time a guest makes a gift purchase, a donation is raised for your selected charitable organization. The I Do Foundation works with Donation Registry, Inc., a donation services company, to partner with gift registry stores. These stores have agreed to pay a percentage of all purchases made by couples and guests referred through our site, which allows us to donate a portion of the spending at your wedding to charity. This donation to your selected charity is made at absolutely no additional cost to you or your guests.

Does the I Do Foundation take any portion of the donated percentage?
No. The percentage listed on the I Do Foundation web site under each
store is the exact amount that will be donated to your selected charity.

If I am already registered at an I Do Foundation partner store can I still have a percentage donated to my chosen charity?
You can still raise a percentage donation for each gift purchase even if you
have already registered with that store. Simply add that store to your
list of registries and guests will be able to link to your registry from your
Wedding Website.

Do my guests need to buy online in order to raise donations?
Guest purchases must be made online through the links on your I Do Foundation Wedding Website in order to raise charitable donations. When your guests use these links, we are able to track the purchases and ensure that the proper donation is made to your selected charity.

questions about your gift registry. Each store's customer service number

What if I want to register with stores that are not I Do Foundation partners?
Many couples register for gifts with a variety of stores, and we hope you
will consider creating a registry with some of the I Do Foundation's
partners. If you plan to register with stores that are not currently listed
on the I Do Foundation website, you are welcome to do so. While purchases
from these stores will not generate donations, we are happy to include
information about other gift registries on your wedding website. You can add
this information to your personalized website through the Gift Registry setup process.
Couples who have registered with outside stores may want to consider creating
a Charity Registry through the I Do Foundation. In this way, couples can
compliment their wedding gifts with wedding donations.
