From time to time, we may ask you for information about yourself and your wedding in order to provide you with services. If you submit your personal information, we will collect, store, and safeguard your information using industry standard security measures, and all financial transactions are protected by Secure Sockets Layer technology (SSL). Wedding Guests:

We will collect your personal information only if you choose to make a donation through our site. We may store your name and address information, but we do not store any credit card information for security reasons. We will use your e-mail address only to confirm your donation; we will not use this address for future e- mails.

Off-site Links: Please be aware that this site may contain links to sites published by other companies, such as our partner stores. The I Do Foundation, Inc., is not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites, and strongly recommends that you read the policies, terms, and conditions posted on any web sites you visit.

Couples:

Gift Registry: Our gift registry services require us to share your personal information with the stores at which you would like to register. This is because our registry partners require that information for all couples who wish to set up a registry with them. If you would not like a store to have access to your personal information, please do not set up a gift registry with that store.

IP Address Tracking: We may track the IP address used by all visitors to our site, and the times and dates of the visits, from both registered and unregistered users. We use this information solely for the purpose of traffic reporting and in order to adapt our site for easier use.

Use of Cookies: We may store some information about you on your computer that we may later retrieve. The following conditions apply to our use of cookies:

  • We only use cookies to track users who have already registered. Unregistered users may choose to visit as often as they like without giving us any personal information. Some services that require that information (such as registry services) may be unavailable to those users, but we will place no cookies on their computers.

  • We use cookies solely to track a registered user's actions while visiting the I Do Foundation site only. We will not be aware of any other sites our users visit, or anything they do when not on our site.

  • We use cookies to improve the experience of our registered users by providing a personalized interface. All information we collect and store using cookies will be used solely for that purpose.

Use of Your Email Address: We do not share, sell, or trade your Email address, or any of the information collected or stored about you (with the exception of gift registry services; see above). From time to time, we may send you information about changes to your account. With your permission, we may also send you periodic emails about new products and services. You can decline to receive such emails at any time by visiting the My Profile page.

The I Do Foundation, Inc., is not responsible for the privacy practices of these other sites, and strongly recommends that you read the policies, terms, and conditions posted on any web sites you visit.

Security: We follow industry standard security measures to protect your private data. These measures are audited annually by a third-party expert.
