Your Charity Registry
Through the I Do Foundation's Charity Registry, you can share the generosity of your guests directly with your chosen charitable cause. Using our simple system, your guests can make secure online donations in support of the organization of your choice as their wedding gift to you.
Just like a gift registry, a Charity Registry informs your guests about your charitable preferences and guides their giving. When you create a Charity Registry, you may suggest a specific number of donation gifts, or you may allow any or all of your guests to make donations freely. You can specify a certain dollar amount for each donation, or allow your guests to choose the amount of their gifts.
Starting Your Charity Registry:
- You must register your wedding with the I Do Foundation. Join Us Now
- Once you are registered, you select the organization or organizations your wedding will benefit by choosing your Registry Charities.
- After you have made your charitable choices, you will need less than five minutes to set up your Charity Registry online.
- At any time, you can update your charitable options through your Charity Registry status page.
After you create a Charity Registry, you can make your registry immediately available to your guests through your Wedding Website. When guests visit your Wedding Website to learn more about your celebration, they can also access your Charity Registry to make their tax-deductible gift directly online.
As an added benefit, the I Do Foundation maintains a list for you of all of the donations made in your name. This system ensures that you will be able to thank the guests who supported your charitable choice.
